The Maroder family which are the owners of Alloggi Barbaria, have lived in Venice their entire life.
After running many hotels in Venice through the years they decided in August 2002 to open Alloggi Barbaria.

Fausto, the owner, has been here since it opened in 2002.
Fausto speaks many languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese and of course, Italian. He has a wealth of knowledge about Venice including all the tourist attractions, restaurants, and more. He is more than happy to help with reservations and planning your day of sightseeing in Venice.
Fausto can be found at the hotel every morning and is your main contact with the hotel when communicating via email.
